It has been almost 2 days since that long awaited premier and I still can’t stop thinking about it. It was that good. The story line was of course, impeccably written (thank you JKR); and the movie surprisingly followed the book pretty close (which I loved). The acting was awesome, an improvement from the last films. And while I am on the subject of acting can I just say how much I love Alan Rickman. How does he do it? One glance into his eyes and you can feel an array of emotions in one instant. The man is good.
Anyways, HP7 had a perfect blend of humor, action, somberness, and scariness…I found myself on the edge of my seat the majority of the film. And when I say the majority of it, I mean all 2 hours and 25 minutes of it! I wish it was longer; in fact I wish it was real life. I am still convinced that my acceptance letter to Hogwarts is out there somewhere, desperately trying to find its way to me. sigh.
Part of the fun of seeing the movie was going with my fam damily. We made T-shirts beforehand (yes, we are ALL Harry Potter fanatics) each displaying one of our favorite characters. Dorky? Maybe. Do I care? Not at all. In fact, I absolutely LOVE my family and everything that we do together. Here are a few pictures:
Only 236 days till Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2. Why does it have to be forever away?! I suppose i should be grateful for its distance, because once this series ends, my life will cease to have meaning (okay, slightly dramatic, but that's how is feels sometimes).
Welp, that's all I've got to say for this post. Harry Potter was rad. The End.
