*not actual size

I sure am glad Ikea clarified this one…

Otherwise I would have been pretty disappointed when a 3 dollar hotdog turned out to be a mere average size rather than the dimensions of a billboard.

Also, I came to the conclusion that if there is one reason to get married, it's so that you can go cake tasting. Okay okay, I'm just kidding. But seriously, cake tasting has been the best part of wedding planning thus far.

The cake we tasted was sooooo yummy!! Who knew a baked good could be so soft? It was like biting into a pillow. A heavenly, delicious tasting pillow.

Yum.

Just one more reason why i can't wait for my wedding. And contrary to what everyone tells me, i will eat my wedding cake!

bored on saturday night...

I'll probably regret posting this baby in about 5 minutes...but it was my only blogging idea for the day, so here goes nothing.

This is what happens when my sister and i get bored together. For the two of us, I guess you could say the possibilities are endless, but this was our most recent "bored activity".

and that's all folks!!

This, my friends, was an expensive Jamba Juice.

Let me explain:

Anybody who has ever attended college knows that the price of text books is well, astronomical. If you ever attended college you would also know that selling text books back is about the most ridiculous and largest rip-off known to man.

A typical semester would go like this:

First day of school: Drop 600 buckaroonies on 2-3 text books. Look at empty wallet. Cry.

Last day of school: Dust books off. Turn in for 25 dollars. Rejoice because you are 25 dollars richer. Cry after you realize you actually lost 575 dollars (I’m really good at math, I know).

In past experience, I would put my “sell back” money in an envelope and put it towards text books the following semester. It never went very far, but hey, every dollar counts!! This semester was no ordinary semester however. It just so happens that I took MY LAST FINAL in college this week! Yep, I Brianna Jill, will never again be pained by the depressing, and money sucking cost of text books.

Seeing as this would be the last time I ever sold back a text book, I strolled happily to the bookstore, turned in my text book valued at 1 arm and 1 leg, and received 10 dollars in return. I thought about stashing this precious 10 dollars for future expenses but instead thought, “what the heck, I’m buying lunch.”

Now, with the above facts in mind, this Jamba Juice could technically be valued at 4 years’ worth of text book money. And just to give you a rough estimate…that’s about 3,200 dollars. Wow baby.

Best Jamba Juice I’ve ever had.

a new kind of list

Sooooo a few posts ago I mentioned that I was a lister. I came to the conclusion after seeing this picture however, that i need to come up with much cooler lists. See for yourself:

Genius! Genius I tell you. Oh the potential for my future to do lists. Talk about making life more exciting :)

and excitement is just what i need now that my social life (aka Rob) moved to New York.

I think i will start with #1...

in a while crocodile!

Welp, today is the day.

The day Rob kisses Utah goodbye and heads to the Big Apple. Lucky for me I get to go with for a few days!

On the Agenda…
-Newsies
-Memphis
-seeing our, can you believe it, apartment!
-moving furniture
-costco and home depot runs
-cleaning
-and probably getting lost a few times haha

Not the typical trip to New York, but I can’t wait! For the trip that is. The goodbye is a different story. Sigh.

On the bright side (if there is a bright side to saying goodbye for the summer), since I will officially have no life once Rob vacates the state, I might actually start blogging again!

Be back in a few days.

Until then, feast your eyes on this clip from the most joyous TV show to grace the presence of television.
