I saw the movie “Signs” last night for the first time.
Luckily it wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought it would be. I’m sure some
of you are thinking, “Uh, that movie isn’t
scary at all”; but I will be the first one to admit I am a big baby. I’ve never
been a fan of scary movies. In fact, I covered my eyes in the Pixar movie “Brave”—that’s
how big of a baby I am.
And maybe I just don’t like them because I know how
seriously I take them. As a perfect example, I have lately been addicted to the
TV series “Pretty Little Liars” (judge me), and as a result, I have come to
think that someone is watching me all the
time. Not kidding at all. I am constantly checking over my shoulder to see
if someone is following me, I check and double check to make sure the doors and
windows are locked, I think the worst of any noise I hear, and lets not even
get into how scared I get when I’m home alone at night. It’s no bueno. So, if
you ask me, I’ve got plenty a good reason to not watch scary movies.
There is only one day a year where I feel the slightest
pressure to get into the Halloween spirit and watch something scary (October 31st
duh!) and I’m grateful to say that day is over and I came out relatively
unscathed. So thanks for not scaring the day lights right out of my Mel Gibson, I really
appreciate it.
Now, watching other people get scared is a whole different story...
{ps. i apologize in advance for Ellen's inappropriate Halloween costume!}
Goooooood stuff.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is paranoid because of Pretty Little Liars.
