Today while studying on campus I about died laughing when a girl opposite of the window I was sitting next to, used the reflection from the glass to clean out who knows what from her teeth. Fortunately she had no clue that I was watching; but it reminded me of one of my many embarrassing moments not too long ago.
Once upon a time…
I had just finished a delicious meal at the good ol’ Cowboy Grub.
Normally when I eat out I leave a restaurant feeling quite full, but on this particular day I was STUFFED. To the brim. I could have solved world hunger with how much I consumed.
So naturally, I decided to see how far I could stick out my stomach. Come on, don’t pretend like you haven’t done this before…
Anyway, feeling intrigued at how far exactly I was sticking my stomach out, I headed over to the nearest car where the sun was reflecting perfectly on a window creating the illusion that it was a mirror. I stood there for who knows how long laughing at myself and this hidden talent I’d discovered; when to my horror I realized there was a person in the car. Said person was sitting just beyond the window staring at me with a look of disgust, confusion, maybe even amusement. When I finally comprehended the show I had just given a complete stranger, I gave an audible gasp and ran away faster than you can say mortified.
I think it’s safe to say that I much prefer being on the other side of the glass as a witness, rather than the person momentarily (or not-so-momentarily) oblivious to life.
is it sad that that's one of my favorite memories of you? haha Love you
